Putting natural masks on our face can reduce the appearance of enlarged pores .
Most women care more about the care of their skin. However, following exposure to the sun, pollution, poor diet, among other causes, many have a hard time looking good, presenting problems such as large pores, excess fat, acne, and more.
According to a publication in Dermatologic Surgery, dilated pores are given to a condition generated by visible topographic changes of the skin’s surface, while they are not a medical problem.
However, as part of the same study, pore dilation can also occur due to excessive sebum production or increased hair follicle volume. So, the ways to approach it can vary in each patient.
Therefore, it is recommended that you visit a dermatologist and see the available options. You can also prepare some natural masks that can have a beneficial effect on the skin.
Next, we show you two masks and step by step to apply them.
1) Lemon wheat flour mask
With the combination of wheat flour and lemon, we can create a mask with exfoliating properties, ideal for removing dead cells and impurities accumulated in the dilated pores. The result will be softer skin.
- Half a glass of warm water (125 ml).
- 3 tablespoons wheat flour (30 g).
- The juice of half a lemon.
It’s very easy to do. You should only get a paste thick enough to apply on the face. Mix the flour, water, and lemon until you get a homogeneous preparation.
Put it on your face for 20 minutes, and try not to make a gesture. Wash with cold water and then apply moisturizer — the one you usually use.
This mask is perfect to be used at night, twice a week.
Watch out! Lemon causes photosensitivity in your skin. Therefore, be sure to use this mask only at night. Also, you should use sunscreen the next day.
2) Orange and aloe vera mask to reduce enlarged pores
It is more than known that aloe vera gives essential benefits to the skin. Therefore, it is not uncommon to help reduce enlarged pores. Moreover, according to a publication in the Italian Journal of Dermatology and Venusologya, its properties help the treatment of superficial wounds, burns, dermatitis, and other skin problems.
- The juice of an orange.
- A tablespoon of aloe vera gel.
Squeeze the orange, so you get the juice. Extract a tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Heat the orange juice a little and add the aloe little by little. Once you have obtained a homogeneous mass, let it cool slightly. If it is warm, much better. Apply the paste with the help of a cotton on the face. Let it act for about 20 minutes, then remove it with cold water.
Finally, apply your moisturizer.
Natural remedies are always better to use, especially on the face, as they are chemical-free and will not harm your skin. Must use above mentioned masks, and you will feel a great change on your face in a couple of weeks.
